NYC Tower FRPS is no longer working on obtaining official ownership of the NYC Tower located just off Jackson St. near the CSX north/south tracks. This Tower was home to the FIRST CTC in the world in 1927. The controls have been removed to the Smithsonian.
Profits from the 14th Fostoria Rail Festival will be utilized at the rail
park. Plans will be advised in the near future as to what improvements
will be made.
The Henry H. Geary Jr. Memorial Foundation/Key Bank has awarded FRPS a
grant of $7,500. This funding is for wifi and webcams at the rail park,
picnic tables at the rail park and marketing of Fostoria's rail park and
historic rail buildings.
